Types of Articles We're Looking For
Educational Articles
These are full-length traditional content pieces based on educational floral design, flower growing, and business topics.
Submission guidelines:
Ideally, submitted articles in this category should be comprehensive and consist of 1,800 words or more.
1-5 author-provided high-quality images are required.
While inspiration, personal growth, and reflective articles are sometimes selected, we give preference to reader-focused educational content with actionable, implementable steps and advice.
Seasonal Design Highlights
These article posts are image-heavy content pieces centered on visuals that highlight your beautiful design work! (These articles are less about words and more about beauty!)
Submission guidelines:
We're looking for a full set of images of your design—bonus if you can provide an ingredient list to match along with step-by-step instructions.
We want to hear about your creative and planning process in addition to the practical steps to complete the piece.
Seasonal Design Highlight articles should be a meticulous look into a specific centerpiece, arbor, bouquet, floral installation, or other core floral design pieces.
Word count requirements are flexible.
3-9 author-provided high-quality images are required.
Business Model Highlight
Here, we're looking for submissions that follow a Q&A format. Although it's one of our favorite things to hear about someone's personal journey with flowers (we could talk flower-love all day long), the goal of these particular features is to give clear, actionable ideas about business models, operations, community engagement, fresh revenue streams, and more—not to simply share bio information about your floral business or personal journey.
Submission guidelines:
We're looking for detailed information about how your business model works (not confidential, proprietary, or competitive info, of course!) and any unique educational insights you have as a business owner.
We're also looking to showcase ways your business or floral organization makes an exceptional impact in your community—from creating jobs in your town or repurposing flowers to starting a nonprofit and everything in-between.
A photo of the business owner and any relevant images of your design work are required.
Word count requirements are flexible.
